About Me: Madhavendra Thakur is a rising senior at Trinity School excited by complex, non-deterministic systems - be they biological or artificial. Passionate about the interface between technology and society, he has done AI Governance work accepted to be presented at NeurIPS and ICLR. Within the research sphere, he is an ISEF finalist, and worked as a research intern at a pediatric hepatology lab at the Icahn School of Medicine for the past 2 years, where he investigated therapies for liver disease in-silico, and created ML libraries for liver data analysis. At school, he leads the robotics, competitive programming and academic quiz bowl teams, each of which he has led to national and international championships.
